| Meet Briscoe |
“After not having a dog for 7 years my family and I decided that it would be a good time to get another dog,” said Hannah. “After we looked through the local shelters and had no luck we went on to another service and after a short time of looking we found Briscoe on a dog rescue site.”
"Once we saw him we knew
we had to have him"

Southern Hospitality
“Because Briscoe was being fostered in the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, we had to wait for him to come up to us in Western Mass,” Hannah recalled. “The day he was scheduled to come up to us, I, my mother, and my youngest sister went on a 5-hour round trip to Nashua NH. He was on a trailer with many other dogs; some of them were from the same place as he was. All the other dogs were nervous, but Briscoe was happy and ready to go to his new home!”
Dog Days
Briscoe is one busy boy. “First my father wakes up for work and takes him out for a quick walk so he can go to the bathroom. After that he feeds him and leaves. An hour later, I wake up to do my barn chores and he usually is asleep again,” she continues. “Around 7:30 my older sister takes him out for another long walk. After that he plays with his toys and hangs out, until I get home from school. Then I take him out for a short walk. Then after I’m done with my evening barn chores my sisters and I play with him until our father gets home and takes him out on another walk then after that he gets supper and plays some more.”
Happy In His Pack
“We take him on hikes, we take him to visit family in NH, but his favorite place would have to be the local Tractor Supply store because they give him a bone every time we go there,” Hannah says.
"Briscoe likes to go anywhere we go"

Never A Dull Moment
Always one to wear a dog-smile, Hannah says of Briscoe, “He is very happy and sweet. He loves just about everyone and everything he meets. He never turns down a walk and he is always ready to play with any toy you pick up. Life is always fun for Briscoe, even trips to the vet. Although his is a great dog, he can be a bit stubborn at times.” When asked about his funniest moments she muses, “It’s hard to pin point one because he is such a dorky dog. Almost everything he does is memorable. Everyone in the house has a different memory they would say is the best. Some of the most notable things he does is blow bubbles in puddles and stick his face in snow.”
True BLUE
When asked about Briscoe’s experience with BLUE Hannah says, “Briscoe loves his food. Before we got him everyone agreed that we should feed him something natural and holistic. We wanted him to be as healthy as can be. Naturally we headed to our local stores to compare dog foods. After looking for a while we chose BLUE because it had the best ingredients out of all the foods we looked at. We were looking for a food with lots of fish and the flavor we chose was Fish and Sweet Potato. He is thriving and his skin and coat look great.”
