| Meet Brin |
When pet parent Pedro and his wife decided it was time to be get a dog, their search for the right dog took them to a shelter. And that's when they met Brin.
"Hmmm....is she the one?"
"I remember meeting her for the first time and wondering, 'Hmm, is she the one?'" Pedro recounts. "She was a Pit Bull/Lab mix and a ball of energy. I kept thinking I should look around first and not fall in love with a face.but I did anyway." Pedro added, "She needed a home quickly and I needed her to breathe some life into me.and she looked like she had a lot to give, so away we went."
Brin's Day-Basketball And Bones.
A day in the life of Brin is pretty simple. "Every morning, she wakes up when I do, usually still in her crate, but sometimes on her bed in our bedroom," Pedro shares. "She patiently waits for me to go through my morning routine before making a move. I give her breakfast and then leave for work."
Brins gets some playtime when Pedro comes home for lunch. And when Pedro comes home at the end of the day, it's time for a long walk.
"She will chew on her bones until she
falls asleep.
She's pretty easy to please."
"After the walk we play out in the yard with a deflated basketball until she is good and ready to finally lay down", Pedro says. "Then I feed her dinner and her day is complete. From here on out, she will chew on her bones until she falls asleep. She's pretty easy to please."
Brin And Her Best Friend Reese.
According to Pedro, Brin likes to go anywhere, although her favorite is going to visit Pedro's friend in Nashville. "He has a Doberman mix female named Reese", Pedro explains. "They are best friends and Brin has learned a lot about good behavior from her. They will play together all day, follow each other around, sleep together, eat together.it's blissful for the dogs."
Is Brin The Laziest Dog Ever?
Pedro offers up this candid description of his canine companion. "She is by far the laziest dog I've ever been around. Once she's burned out, good luck getting her to move on her own. It will take at least 2-3 minutes while I wait for her to slowly drag herself off of the couch. It's the funniest thing because she acts like she can't, but at the slightest movement from me for her to hurry, she'll move quick.but she doesn't want to. It's pretty funny."

While Brin may be a tad lazy, Pedro is sure to make it clear she is a great dog. "I've made sure that as an parent of such a powerful breed that she is a good role model. She is very polite now and waits for direction. I guess she can be a little boring because she's pretty predictable but at least we both live in perfect harmony."
Brin and BLUE.
Brin had skin allergies as a puppy so Pedro asked an employee at a pet store to recommend a pet food.
"She recommended Blue Buffalo because of the quality ingredients in the puppy food. The combination of healthy ingredients and lack of fillers helped her skin improve. It wasn't until she was old enough to eat the Adult Fish and Potato Formula that she vastly improved. Her skin cleared up and she hasn't had one breakout since.and it's been months!"
