| Meet Bababooey |
We asked pet parent Tiffany Taylor why she chose her four-legged friend Bababooey to be her animal companion. Simply put she told us, “I have had cats all my life and I think they make the best pets.”
We asked how Tiffany and Bababooey became acquainted and she tells us, “After I lost my cat of 15 years to CRF it took a while for me to decide I was ready to have another cat. I needed to decide if I wanted a kitten or an adult cat. I decided I wanted a kitten, and of course, you can’t just get one kitten, so I ended up with two. They aren’t from the same litter and are 2 months apart in age, but they were raised together and love each other to pieces. They also keep each other, and us entertained for countless hours.”

Best Friends with his Brother
So with his best friend at his side, Bababooey has a pretty great daily routine for a cat. Tiffany told us, “He’s a cat, so it’s pretty much play, eat and sleep. Sometimes he gets crazier than other times. The two cats pretty much have “their own” bedroom where they can lounge on the bed or sit on the bench in front of a large picture window to look outside. The only time he leaves the house is to go to the vet, which is decidedly NOT his favorite!”
Fast Learners
We asked Tiffany if she thought Bababooey ran the household. She responded that, “I had such a close and loving relationship with my now-deceased CRF cat because of the time I had to spend with his special health needs. That kind of spoiling now gets carried over to Bababooey and his brother. Cats are intelligent, though, so when I need to implement a rule, like no jumping on the kitchen counter, they pick it up very quickly. Other than that there are not many rules for them. They’re good boys!”
“Bababooey is a naturally timid kitty,” Tiffany explained when we asked what made him so unique. “When I first got him, he acted like he might have been hit and/or kicked before, so I have worked very hard to gain his trust and affection. It seems to be paying off as he is a very loving, needy and goofy kitty who pesters us for pettings,” she said.

The Cleaning Machine
Tiffany fondly recalled some of her favorite memories of her feline friend. She tells us, “We call Booey a “serial cleaner” because he is not only obsessed with cleaning himself, he is also obsessive about cleaning his brother. It’s funny to watch as Bababooey pounces on his brother, pins him down, and cleans him from head to toe and doesn’t let him up until he’s satisfied he’s clean. It’s also pretty funny to watch him play cat games on the iPad. Another thing he likes to do is “hide” behind the curtain and wait for his brother in order to pounce on him, but unbeknownst to him, both his paws are showing from under the curtains.”
Baba-BLUE-y
Tiffany then told us about how making the switch to BLUE came about. “I tried Blue Buffalo because our other cat was diagnosed with IBD. Before resigning to the prospect of a lifetime of expensive prescription medicine, I thought I would give the Blue Sensitive Stomach formula a try. So far it’s working like a charm – and both cats are benefitting from a shinier coat and increased energy. They are both frisky as heck!”
